The mission of the Northwest Rankin Middle School Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive school-counseling program that recognizes and meets the individual and unique needs of our students, while also providing equitable access to all areas of the academic curriculum and extra-curricular activities in our school community. We respect the dignity and worth of each student as an individual and believe it is the responsibility of all stakeholders in the school community to provide a learning environment that is safe, orderly, and mutually respectful. We will strive to produce lifelong learners who will be successful and responsible citizens in a rapidly changing society by integrating activities in the areas of career, academic, and personal/social into the middle school curriculum.
